The adventures of Bunny Parker

Bunny is 34, has a common physical appearance, works as an accountant, and lives alone, terribly alone. Her hobbies are sewing and the Charleston dance.

Bunny would love to look like the girls on the magazines but the sight of a pastry weakens her goodwill. She lives her life as in a dream, as in the movies, inventing different lives.

Bunny remembers her moments of glory, when she was a loved, and coveted star. But that was back at high school and at the university.

Bunny is, without even been aware of it, flirting with extreme ridiculousness every day. In her very own world, she’s still this « star », this top-of-the-rest girl, and she cannot make any difference between her dreams and reality anymore.

Bunny has two goals in life: regain Jack Barrow, her former boyfriend at high school, who’s now a famous radio host, and go to Mexico… She would definitely love to combine both desires… Unless something happens with the lovely choir boy…

Unfortunately, due to some hazardous genetic manipulations intended to get rid of her hairs, her father has unintentionally provided her with rabbit ears. Therefore, Bunny will have to don big hats, making herself look even more ridicule.

And becoming a celebrity… Be back at the top, the « sine curve » of life, as she puts it.

Will she get Jack back? Will she resist her charming neighbor who induces her to embezzle? Will she find balance between a crazy brother, an eccentric father, a generous mother, and a Spanish neighbor, a ladle collector?

To learn more, read the story of Jack Barrow and Bunny Parker… Gangsters of a new era. Thieves of time, love, and humor.
